Using Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 for Email

If you prefer to use Google Workspace (Gmail) or Microsoft 365 (Outlook/Exchange) for your domain’s email, that’s absolutely possible with WAYSCloud hosting.

You simply need to update your domain’s DNS records to point to the correct mail servers.

Step 1: Create your email service account
• Sign up for Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
• Follow their onboarding process to add your domain

Step 2: Update your DNS Records
Log in to your cPanel or DNS provider and update your domain’s records as instructed by your email provider.

For Google Workspace, update:
MX records to Google’s mail servers
SPF, DKIM, and DMARC (optional but recommended)

Google’s MX records:
ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM (priority 1)
ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM (priority 5)
ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM (priority 5)
ALT3.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM (priority 10)
ALT4.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM (priority 10)

For Microsoft 365, update:
MX record, CNAMEs, TXT (SPF), and optionally SRV records
Microsoft provides these settings inside your 365 admin panel under Domains → DNS Management.

Step 3: Allow time for propagation
DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to take full effect globally. Your email should start flowing through the new provider once the DNS is updated and verified.

❗ Important:
Do not set up email accounts in cPanel if you’re using Google or Microsoft — all email is routed externally.
• You can still host your website with WAYSCloud even if your email is hosted elsewhere.
